Greetings folks! Why wait for reviews to come over to Medium when you can get whole ebooks full of ’em, all conveniently arranged into fun themes! These are ebooks only, but the FREE Amazon Kindle app makes it so you can read them on any device, phone or tablet. There are books of movie reviews and I also have a series of novels telling the ACTUAL Medieval legend of King Arthur, down below.

The Swithen series of King Arthur novels
In a totally different vein, I also write a series of Arthurian novels. Where my series differs from all others is that I am committed to remaining faithful to the actual Arthurian legend as laid down between the years 1136–1485, so as you read, you’ll know that you are discovering the realMedieval legend of King Arthur, not some made-up tale. I am planning 25 novels to tell the whole story in all the scope and majesty it requires, and you’ll be surprised (as I was) how littleyou actually know about what’s really in there. There’s also none of the “fie on thee, foul enchantress!” stuff you expect from typical fantasy fiction. If you like the way my mind works from reading these reviews, you might want to check them out. They are all very different (although they tell one continuous saga), and you can start with any one of them. What you will get is an incredibly interconnected saga of humans at the mercy of the gods (now with extra existentialism!) and no making it up as we go along(so the stuff in Book 2 willpay off in Book 22). It’s weird and obsessive and one reader calls them as “the best telling of these stories in any medium,”which I consider to be pretty good, considering this story has been around for a thousand years.

Book 1: Our Man on Earth
The devil impregnates a woman in order to have his own emissary on earth. She has the baby baptized at birth, allowing him to keep his powers, but use them for good. This is Merlin. At the end, he decides to use them to transform Britain through the creation of a king—Arthur.

Book 2: The Sons of Constance
The first king is a tyrant. The second doesn’t have long to live. The third isn’t fit for the throne. And Merlin rules them all. Witness a fight between dragons, the foolishness of a man who tries to outwit Merlin (bad idea), the creation of Stonehenge and the crafting of the Round Table, as Merlin sets the pieces in place that will result in the birth of Arthur.

Book 3: The Void Place
Uther is chafing under Merlin’s control. When an attempt to make his own decision goes disastrously wrong, he falls into a crippling depression, believing only one thing can save him—the love of beautiful (and married) Duchess Igraine. Problem is, getting her will rip his kingdom apart. By the end, Arthur is born and placed with an adoptive family, and a stone appears in a stone, unable to be drawn by any but the rightful ruler of Britain.

Merlin Creates Arthur: The Swithen First Trilogy
The first three novels in one ebook set plus bonus material; an author interview for each novel, and a comparison of the novel to the Medieval legend.

Book 4: The Flower of Chivalry
No one knows who Arthur is—least of all himself. He enjoys an idyllic childhood exploring the forests and learning to protect a friend shunned by all others, while wondering why he is so different from the rest of his family. Finding success on one exploit, Arthur drifts into overconfidence and almost ends his adventures—and his life—before its begun. At the end, his path leads him near the sword that will predict the future king.

Book 5 is in progress now. Only 20 more after that.
